1. Data Storage

All mood entries, journal notes, activity logs, and personal insights are stored exclusively on your device. MoodKit leverages your device's native encryption and, where enabled, biometric authentication such as Face ID or Touch ID, to safeguard your data. We do not operate external servers that hold your personal information.

2. iCloud Sync

If you choose to enable iCloud Sync, your data is transmitted directly to Apple's CloudKit infrastructure using your personal Apple ID. MoodKit does not relay your data through third-party servers. All information is encrypted both in transit and at rest, in accordance with Apple's industry-leading security standards. You can disable iCloud Sync at any time from within the app's Settings.

3. Data We Do Not Collect

MoodKit does not collect, transmit, or store any of the following:

• Your mood entries, journal text, or activity logs
• Personal identifiers such as your name, email, or phone number
• Location data or contacts
• Advertising identifiers or tracking data

4. Analytics

We may collect minimal, fully anonymized analytics to monitor app stability and improve performance. This information includes crash reports and aggregated feature usage patterns. It contains no personal content, mood data, journal entries, or information that could be used to identify you.

5. Third-Party Services

MoodKit integrates with RevenueCat solely for the purpose of managing subscriptions. RevenueCat processes your purchase through Apple's App Store and does not have access to any of your mood or journal data. For details on how RevenueCat handles data, please refer to their Privacy Policy.

6. Data Deletion

You are in full control of your data at all times. Deleting the app from your device will remove all locally stored data. If you have enabled iCloud Sync, you may also delete your synced data through your iCloud account settings.

7. Children's Privacy

MoodKit is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with data through the app, please contact us so that we can take appropriate action.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal and regulatory reasons. Any updates will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
